I am working with a well established business in March, Cambridgeshire to find a Stores Operative to join their team. No previous stores experience is needed, as full training will be given. This is a largely hands on, outdoor role involving physically stocking the factories with raw materials, with some forklift driving mixed in throughout the day.
Main Responsibilities
- Physically stocking the factories with raw materials, making up the majority of the working day
- Operating a forklift truck for around 20% of the day to support stock movements
- Working outside in all weathers as part of a busy, practical role
- Following site procedures to keep stock moving safely and efficiently
- Supporting the wider team to keep production supplied throughout the shift
Skills and Experience
- No previous stores experience required, full training provided
- Valid FLT licences
- Willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Comfortable with physical, hands on work
- A proactive, reliable approach with a good work ethic
- Forklift experience would be an advantage, though not essential
Salary and Working Hours
£13.50 per hour
Monday to Friday - 0600 until 1500
