With over 30 years of experience, they are looking for a hands on and organized candidate to prepare parts & materials for production. The Production Operative is expected to have good health & safety awareness aswell as work to a high standard.
Main Responsibilities
- Cutting, deburring and bending of sub assembly pipework.
- Degreasing, cleaning and batch marking of parts for production.
- Heat treatment of sub assembly parts.
- Pressure testing of components and pipework assemblies.
- Cleaning and packaging of finished assemblies.
- Cleaning of brazed components and pipework assemblies prior to pressure testing. This is carried out in various chemical tanks to achieve the desired finish.
Skills & Experience
- Production/Manufacturing experience
- Physically fit
- Good level of attention to detail
- Well organized.
- Counterbalance Forklift Licence as an advantage
Hourly Rate & Working Hours
Monday – Thursday 8:30 Until 16:45pm
Friday – 8:30am Until 16:15pm
(37 hours a week)
Starting rate £12.71 per hour
