The Role:
We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join a busy and supportive team within a growing organisation in Cambridge. As Office Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting staff, management and visitors while ensuring administrative processes are efficient and well organised.
The Office Administrator position is a permanent role based in Cambridge, working within a company that provides specialist solutions to the semiconductor industry. As Office Administrator, you will be responsible for a range of administrative, HR and office coordination tasks, acting as a central point of support for multiple departments and helping to create a positive and well-organised workplace environment.
Main Responsibilities:

Manage and organise office files, records and documentation

Answer phone calls, respond to emails and handle general enquiries

Welcome visitors and support the smooth running of reception and office activities

Coordinate office services such as utilities, meter readings, pest control and shredding services

Book travel arrangements for colleagues and visitors when required

Manage office supplies and place orders when necessary

Coordinate staff uniform orders and maintain supply records
-
Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries
-
Support finance tasks and assist with filing and scanning delivery notes

Prepare induction boxes for new starters and ensure supplies are available

Support HR with staff events, recognition schemes and training materials
-
Assist with note taking, printing, scanning and document filing for HR processes

Support management and different departments with ad-hoc administrative tasks

Ensure office policies and procedures are followed
Skills/Experience:
-
Previous experience in an Office Administrator or administrative support role

Strong organisational and time management skills
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Friendly and approachable with a positive attitude

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)

Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks

High attention to detail and accuracy

Understanding of confidentiality when supporting HR functions
Salary & Working Hours:
Salary: Competitive salary depending on experience
Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday with a 12:30pm finish every Friday
