The Role
Point Recruitment are partnering with an established and growing organisation to recruit an experienced Operations Manager to lead and develop their operational teams. This is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring production targets, quality standards and delivery schedules are consistently achieved.
This role will suit a driven Operations Manager who enjoys improving processes, developing teams, and delivering measurable performance improvements. You will play a key role in driving operational efficiency, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring the smooth running of all operational functions.

Main Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day operational and production activities across the site
- Ensure production targets, quality standards and delivery deadlines are consistently achieved
- Oversee production planning, scheduling and resource allocation
- Monitor operational KPIs including productivity, downtime, efficiency and delivery performance
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency
- Lead, motivate and develop supervisors, team leaders and operational staff
- Ensure strong health & safety standards and compliance across the workplace
- Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure equipment reliability
- Manage operational budgets and monitor costs including labour, materials and overheads
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including planning, quality, HR and senior management
Skills / Experience
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager within a Manufacturing or Production setting
- Strong leadership experience managing teams within an operational or manufacturing environment
- Experience driving continuous improvement, efficiency and process optimisation
- Strong understanding of health & safety compliance and operational best practice
- Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience managing performance through KPIs and operational metrics
Desirable
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous improvement methodologies
Salary & Working Hours
- Competitive, dependent on experience
- Monday to Friday, full-time
