I am recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Huntingdon, currently looking for a reliable and physically fit warehouse operative to join their team on a part time basis.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on, physical work and is looking for a flexible role with the potential to increase their hours as the business grows.
You will be working Monday to Friday, initially for around three to four hours per day. As the business enters a busier period, there is a real expectation that hours will increase, so we are looking for someone who is flexible and happy to take on more work as demand grows.
Main responsibilities
- Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently
- Labelling products in line with company requirements
- Carrying out stock takes and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy and safe
- Operating the granulator machine in line with training and health and safety guidelines
Skills and experience
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable but not essential
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and sustained physical activity
- Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Flexible with availability and open to increasing hours when required
- Forklift licence is a bonus but not required
Salary and working hours
Monday to Friday
09:30 until 14:00 (flexibility required)
£12.71 per hour
