We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented production operative to join a reputable and well-established client of ours in St Neots.
In this role, the production operative will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies in a busy production environment.
Main Duties:

Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools

Read and interpret assembly instructions

Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards

Maintain a clean and organised work area

Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets

Stamping parts with use of a machine

Measuring and cutting material to tight tolerances using cutting machines

Flushing with either a lubricant or pellets

Taping finished products

Bagging finished goods
Skills / Experience
-
Previous production operative or mechanical assembly experience (preferred)

Good attention to detail and manual dexterity

Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Basic understanding of health and safety practices
Pay & Hours
Monday to Friday
0600 until 1400 / 1400 until 2200
On weekly rotation
£14.42 per hour for the first 12 weeks rising to £15.60 per hour
