We are currently recruiting Factory Operatives to join a well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Cambridge.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with experience in production who take pride in quality, hygiene, and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate machinery and equipment to produce products in line with company standards.
- Ensure hygiene, and quality procedures are always followed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to “clean as you go” policies.
- Complete all relevant production and quality control paperwork accurately and on time.
- Monitor equipment, reporting any faults or issues to the Production Manager.
- Support daily production schedules, preparing for upcoming runs as required.
- Take part in company training to improve skills and knowledge in food manufacturing.
- Assist and support team members where needed to ensure production goals are achieved.
Skills / Experience
- Previous exposure to a factory / production environment.
- Understanding of safety, and quality control procedures.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work efficiently to meet targets relating to output, yield, and waste.
- Reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving.
- Flexibility.
Hours & Pay:
Monday to Friday
07:30 until 17:00
Flexibility required
£13.00 per hour
OT to be paid at an enhanced rate
