We are working with a well established manufacturing business in Cambridgeshire to find a reliable Factory Cleaner. Keeping the factory clean, safe and well organised matters a great deal to the site. As their Factory Cleaner, you will be a key part of the team. The working hours are flexible, so this role would suit someone who wants a steady job with hours that fit around their life.
Main Duties
- Cleaning across the factory floor and production areas
- Hoovering and sweeping to keep the work areas clean
- Removing dust from machinery surroundings, ledges and high touch areas
- Moving pallets safely around the site when needed
- Making sure walkways and fire exits are clear at all times
- Cleaning and tidying break areas and other shared spaces
- Following health and safety and site hygiene procedures
- Reporting any spills, hazards or maintenance issues to the site team
Skills / Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience in a factory, warehouse or industrial setting is helpful but not essential
- A good eye for detail and pride in your work
- Reliable and punctual, with a good attendance record
- Happy to work on your own and as part of a team
- Physically fit and comfortable on your feet throughout the day
- Willing to follow health and safety guidelines
Hours & Pay Rate
£13.25 per hour
Eight hours per day
