The Role: Electronics Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Electronics Engineer to join fantastic business in Huntingdon. As an Electronics Engineer, you will be involved across the full product lifecycle, from initial concept and design through to prototyping, testing, and production handover.
This is a full-time, permanent position. The company operates in a modern, agile environment and is focused on delivering high-quality, custom-engineered PCB solutions for industrial applications. This Electronics Engineer role will suit someone who enjoys hands-on design work, embedded software development, and close collaboration with production teams and customers.
Main Responsibilities: Electronics Engineer
• Design and develop electronic circuits and systems
• Develop and maintain embedded software
• Test, debug, and fault-find electronic circuits and assemblies
• Build and evaluate physical prototypes using standard techniques
• Support PCB design, simulation, and design for manufacture
• Work closely with engineers, production teams, and customers on new product development
• Support the transition of designs from prototype to production
• Research and apply new technologies and methods in electronic design
Skills/Experience: Electronics Engineer
• Proven background in electronics engineering
• Experience in electronic circuit design and PCB development
• Embedded software development experience using C
• Circuit simulation and strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
• Strong communication skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Degree-qualified in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in electronic design
Salary & Working Hours: Electronics Engineer
Salary: up to £50,000, DOE
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, full-time
Location: Hybrid – Cambridge area (near Huntingdon)
