Warehouse Operative urgently required!
My client is looking for a reliable and ambitious Warehouse Operative to join their team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for someone just starting out in warehousing who is looking for secure and consistent work with an established and reputable business.
Working as part of a supportive warehouse team, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are processed accurately, stock is managed efficiently, and the warehouse operates safely and effectively.
Main Duties
- Receiving, unloading and processing incoming deliveries
- Checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting any damages or discrepancies
- Sorting and storing stock accurately in allocated warehouse locations
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders efficiently and accurately
- Completing and attaching dispatch documentation
- Loading goods securely onto lorries and delivery vehicles
- Safely operating warehouse equipment (forklift trucks, pallet trucks, ladders and picking trolleys – training provided where applicable)
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Providing support to other departments where required
This is a physically demanding role working across multiple warehouses. Full training will be provided.

Essential:
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, motivated and able to work as part of a team
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy environment
- Previous warehouse experience
- Counterbalance forklift certificate
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
07:30 until 17:00
Some flexibility required, with occasional overtime
Salary: £25,396.80 – £26,436.80 depending on experience
