PT Office Administrator

We're recruiting a part-time Office Administrator on behalf of a well-established, specialist technology business based in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire. This is a permanent position working 16 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–1:30pm, on-site — with a start date of 2nd November 2026. The role pays £16.00 per hour and offers a varied, hands-on administrative position within a small, close-knit team.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you'll play a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the business, covering everything from customer support and facilities management through to production administration and general office coordination. Main Responsibilities:

  • Raising invoices and despatch notes and handling straightforward customer enquiries
  • Updating customer records and maintaining the marketing database
  • Managing office facility accounts including utilities and phone contracts
  • Coordinating building maintenance requirements such as servicing and contractor management
  • Generating scheduled Excel reports and producing database reports for the Production Manager
  • Arranging collection of WEEE waste in line with regulatory requirements
  • Managing company contracts including shipping providers and staff mobile phones
  • Organising company functions and events

Skills/Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of office administration experience
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel and database systems
  • Confident communicating with colleagues across multiple departments at all levels
  • High standard of written and verbal English communication skills
  • Able to work both independently and as part of a small team
  • Experience using Sage or similar accounts packages — desirable
  • Previous customer service experience — desirable
  • Must have the right to live and work indefinitely in the UK — essential

Hourly Rate & Working Hours:

£16.00 per hour. Part-time, permanent position — 16 hours per week, Monday to Thursday, 9:30am–1:30pm. Fully on-site in Huntingdon. Start date: 2nd November 2026.
