Our client is a well-established provider, specialising in large-scale projects. Operating from a site on the outskirts of St Neots.
They are looking for Production Operatives to join them in the busy Receipt & Despatch department where they are responsible for checking, labelling and packing printed material into cores or bags ready for despatch via van, courier, or collection by the client. This role is based on the night shift, working Sunday evening to Friday morning.
Main Responsibilities
- Contacting relevant people (internal and external) to chase up missing van jobs.
- Packing materials to their different specifications.
- Picking and packing for retail campaigns.
- Processing job bags correctly to ensure the despatch area remains organised, and labelling where required.
- Clearing the floor ready for the next jobs to be laid out.
- Loading of outbound vehicles.
- Other general duties as required by management.
Skills / Experience
- Physically able to undertake the heavy lifting that is required.
- Good attention to detail and a high level of organisation are vital.
- A good team player with great communication skills.
- A flexible approach and the ability to work overtime where required.
- Excellent timekeeping.
- Experience in a stock control and warehousing environment.
- Full driving licence.
- Computer literate.
Hours & Salary
Sunday to Friday 2200 until 0600
£32,000 per annum
