Industrial sprayer/finisher

The role
We are recruiting an Industrial Sprayer/Finisher on behalf of a growing manufacturing business. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity for a skilled and reliable finisher who takes real pride in their workmanship and is committed to delivering high-quality results across a range of components.
You will be responsible for preparing surfaces and applying spray finishes to the highest standard, ensuring all work meets strict quality, safety, and efficiency requirements. The role would suit someone with a strong eye for detail who is equally comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for spraying, including cleaning, masking, sanding, and priming as required
- Apply high-quality spray finishes using appropriate techniques and materials
- Ensure all finished products meet quality standards and customer specifications
- Carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of spray equipment and booths
- Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines
- Identify and report any quality, material, or equipment issues promptly
- Follow all health and safety procedures and maintain a clean, organised work area
Skills/experience
- Proven experience as a Sprayer, Finisher, or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of spray painting techniques and surface preparation
- Experience working with industrial coatings and finishes
- High attention to detail with a strong focus on quality
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
- Commitment to health, safety, and best working practices
- Experience with different coating systems and materials (desirable)
- Background in a manufacturing or fabrication environment (desirable)
- Relevant qualifications or time-served experience (desirable)
Salary & working hours
- Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum, dependent on experience
- Hours: Daytime hours
