Our client based in Biggleswade is currently recruiting for a Paint Sprayer to join their growing manufacturing team on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established engineering business with a global reputation for designing and manufacturing specialist industrial doors for projects around the world.
Working within a modern manufacturing facility, you will be responsible for preparing and spraying a wide range of materials while supporting the wider paint shop operation. This role would suit candidates with previous industrial paint spraying, powder coating, shot blasting or manufacturing experience who are looking for a long-term opportunity within a stable and expanding company.
Main Responsibilities:
• Preparing materials and surfaces ready for painting
• Carrying out industrial wet paint spraying
• Supporting powder coating and shot blasting processes
• Ensuring high-quality finishes and attention to detail
• Safely using and maintaining air-assisted respiratory equipment
• Completing preparation work prior to painting
• Maintaining cleanliness and health & safety standards within the paint shop
• Working independently and as part of the wider production team
• Supporting general manufacturing and workshop duties as required
Skills & Experience:
• Previous industrial paint spraying experience beneficial
• Experience with powder coating or shot blasting advantageous
• Knowledge of surface preparation and finishing techniques
• Good attention to detail and quality standards
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable and enthusiastic attitude
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
• Experience within manufacturing or engineering environments beneficial
Salary & Working Hours:
• Hourly rate dependent on experience
• Permanent position
• Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:30
• Friday: 08:00 – 15:30
