Customer Service Administrator

The Role:

We are recruiting for a Customer Service Administrator to join a well-established business based in Bar Hill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in delivering a high standard of customer service.

This Customer Service Administrator position is offered on a temporary basis, with a strong opportunity for the role to become permanent for the right candidate. You will be joining a supportive team within a modern office environment, playing a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional and efficient service at all times.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Handling incoming customer enquiries via phone, email, live chat and social platforms

  • Delivering a consistently high level of customer service

  • Processing customer orders, returns and related administration

  • Managing customer queries with empathy, professionalism and attention to detail

  • Liaising with internal departments to resolve customer issues

  • Producing reports relating to customer interactions and service levels

  • Auditing website content to ensure information is accurate and up to date


Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a customer-focused or administrative role

  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Confident and professional telephone manner

  • Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload

  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving


Salary & Working Hours:

  • £27,000 – £30,000 (including performance-related bonus)

  • Monday to Friday

  • 37.5 hours per week
