Admin Support

We are recruiting for an Admin Support professional to join a busy operational team, providing essential administration and organisational support across a fast-paced environment. This is a varied role that will suit someone who enjoys supporting others, keeping systems accurate, and contributing to the smooth day-to-day running of a team.

The position is based in Huntingdon, initially requiring five days onsite during training, moving to a hybrid working pattern (approximately 50% onsite / 50% remote) once fully trained. This is a temporary position, offering full-time hours and the opportunity to gain valuable experience within a supportive and collaborative team.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider team to ensure smooth daily operations

  • Accurately input, update, and maintain data across multiple systems

  • Monitor shared mailboxes and respond to emails within agreed service levels

  • Prepare reports, pull data, and verify spreadsheet information as requested

  • Add bookings to systems and raise jobs and purchase orders

  • Carry out daily review, update, and reconciliation of electronic records

  • Prepare data for invoicing, checking booking references and volumes for accuracy

  • Maintain electronic and hard-copy documentation, including driver paperwork and test certificates

  • Ensure data confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations

  • Resolve queries from internal stakeholders and external partners

  • Provide flexible cover and support across the team during holidays or absences


Skills / Experience:

  • Previous experience in an administrative or support role

  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

  • Confident using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Organised, reliable, and able to manage a varied workload

  • Comfortable supporting different team members as required

  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Flexible, proactive, and happy to assist wherever needed


Salary & Working Hours:

  • £12.50 – £13.00 per hour

  • 37.5 hours per week

  • Ideally 8:00am – 4:00pm, with some flexibility on working hours

  • Monday to Friday
