The Role: CNC Turner

Main Responsibilities (CNC Turner):

• Set and operate a range of CNC lathes to produce precision components
• Machine parts from raw materials according to detailed engineering drawings
• Work with Haas / Fanuc and DMG MORI CELOS (Siemens-based) control systems
• Operate chucking and bar-fed machines with live tooling and Y-axis capabilities
• Use precision measuring equipment to verify product quality
• Maintain compliance with all Quality Management and Health & Safety standards


Skills/Experience (CNC Turner):

• Completed Mechanical Engineering qualification (apprenticeship or equivalent)
• Experience working in a precision engineering or CNC machining environment
• Ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings
• Confident using measurement equipment to ensure quality standards
• Experience with live tooling and/or programming (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines


Salary & Working Hours (CNC Turner):

• Competitive salary (DOE) with premium overtime rates
Rotating weekly shift pattern:
Week 1: 6:00am – 2:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Week 2: 2:00pm – 11:30pm (Monday to Thursday), 2:00pm – 6:00pm (Friday)
