We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established business based in Huntingdon for an experienced Warehouse Operative with a forklift licence to join their busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on, varied role working within a fast-moving production environment, and the ideal candidate will hold a current counterbalance licence.
Main Responsibilities
- Operating a counterbalance forklift truck, including clamp truck where required
- Picking and packing orders accurately and to required standards
- Managing incoming deliveries and ensuring goods are received and logged correctly
- Sorting and organising boxes and packaging materials
- Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe yard at all times
- Supporting the wider warehouse team with day-to-day operations
Skills and Experience
- Current, valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
- Clamp truck licence or experience (desirable)
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment
- Ability to work efficiently and safely across rotating shifts
- Good attention to detail with a reliable, punctual approach to work
- Strong team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Salary and Working Hours
£14.90 per hour
Rotational shifts Monday to Friday
