The role of Production Operator
Your role would be to work within the manufacturing production team on a day-to-day basis, championing their standards and values and participating in all aspects of the manufacture, machine operating and general production work to make high quality products. The Production Operator will have:
- Knowledge of volume manufacturing processes gained in a factory environment
- Experience of running and operating machinery
- Experience of managing quality systems and outputs
- Tightest quality control over material usage and wastage
- Knowledge of working to production targets and priorities
- Experience of working in multi-skilled teams
- Ensuring that all products manufactured conform to product specifications
- Report defects to products or machinery that may result in reducing standards of quality or safety of machines
The Production Operator will:
- Have a pragmatic approach to problem solving, able to develop and implement creative and inventive solutions to problems.
- High level of personal ownership of tasks to completion, with a willingness to "go the extra mile"
- Reliable, honest, trustworthy, team-player, with a willingness to offer support and assistance to colleagues and the team
- Approachable and helpful.
Hours of work for the Production Operator
3 shift rotation Lates Earlies and Nights
Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm
Sunday to Thursday / 10pm to 6am
