A Part-time permanent Materials Operative to work for a super friendly manufacturing company based in Swavesey.
The Materials Operative is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate handling of goods within the warehouse, this includes receiving, storing, and dispatching products to meet customer demands.
Main duties for the Materials Operative:
- Order picking and packing.
- Dispatching.
- Receiving and unloading.
- Inventory management.
- Office stationery stock levels.
- Goods in inspection.
Skills required for the Materials Operative:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Computer literate.
- Proficient in using inventory management software and MS Office applications.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise.
Desirable skills for the Materials Operative
- ERP systems knowledge.
- Manufacturing environment.
- Shipping or customs processes.
Hours of work for the Materials Operative:
Monday to Friday 4 hours per day
