My client is a leading manufacturer based in Huntingdon they are looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join their extrusion line team on a temp to perm basis. Main Responsibilities
- Operating and monitoring extrusion line machinery throughout the production process
- Setting up, adjusting and maintaining equipment to meet production requirements
- Carrying out quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet specifications
- Identifying and reporting any machine faults or production issues promptly
- Following all health and safety procedures and site guidelines
- Working closely with the wider production team to meet output targets
- Completing relevant paperwork and production records accurately
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience operating machinery in a manufacturing environment
- Experience on an extrusion line is desirable but not essential
- Good mechanical awareness and ability to identify faults
- A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-moving production setting
- Good communication skills and a reliable, flexible approach to work
Hours & Pay
£36,000 per annum
12 hour rotating day and night shift
