The Role: IT Support Analyst
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced IT Support Analyst to join a highly regarded company based local to Huntingdon. This IT Support Analyst position plays a vital role in ensuring teams are fully supported with reliable, secure and efficient technology.
As an IT Support Analyst, you will be part of a collaborative IT team delivering first-class technical support within a professional legal environment. This is a permanent position, primarily office-based with some hybrid working available depending on business needs. The successful IT Support Analyst will join a forward-thinking firm known for its strong client relationships, national reach and one-team ethos, where technology is key to delivering exceptional client service.
Main Responsibilities:
• Provide first-line technical support via phone, email, remote tools and in person
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, mobile device and network access issues
• Log, prioritise and manage tickets within the IT service management system, ensuring SLA compliance
• Support legal and business support teams with Microsoft 365, Teams and Outlook
• Provide support for meeting room technology and hybrid working tools
• Build, configure and deploy laptops, desktops, mobile devices and peripherals
• Maintain accurate hardware, licence and asset inventories
• Install approved software in line with IT policies and security protocols
• Adhere to firmwide security standards and information governance requirements
• Assist with IT projects including testing, equipment preparation and user communication
• Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
• Maintain and update internal knowledge base documentation
Skills/Experience:
• Previous experience as an IT Support Analyst within a professional services environment
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Windows 10/11
• Experience with user administration tasks (password resets, mailbox permissions etc.)
• Familiarity with ITIL principles and service desk workflows
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• High level of professionalism, discretion and integrity
• Knowledge of networking, printers and remote working technologies such as VPN or Citrix (desirable)
• ITIL Foundation or relevant Microsoft certifications (advantageous)
Salary & Working Hours:
Competitive salary dependent on experience
Permanent, full-time position
Office-based with some hybrid working available
Occasional out-of-hours or weekend work may be required for system upgrades or critical incidents
Travel to other UK offices may be required
