My client in Ramsey is looking for a reliable and motivated General operative to join their team. In this role, you will play a key part in the fabrication, assembly, and installation of bespoke retail display units. Full training will be provided, but the ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and a commitment to producing high-quality results
Main Duties
- Working as a General Operative to fabricate and assemble units using various materials.
- Safely operating hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and finishing.
- Interpreting technical drawings and specifications accurately.
- Supporting occasional site work across the UK to install display units.
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on displays as required.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organised workspace.
Skills / Experience
- Previous workshop, carpentry, joinery, or transferable skills are desirable but not essential.
- Previous experience as a General Operative with previous skills.
- Ability to use tools safely and confidently.
- Reliability, flexibility, and a positive approach to teamwork.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Flexibility to support overtime and site work when needed.

08:00 until 17:00
Friday
08:00 until 13:00
£13.00 - £14.00 per hour
