My client based on the outskirts of St Ives (Cambridgeshire) are looking for a Delivery Driver to join their growing team. They are a small, family run business who have been through a recent period of growth and are looking to expand.
Main Duties of the Delivery Driver:
- Drive the company vehicle in line with driving and traffic regulations ensuring the image of the business is at the forefront of everything you do.
- Unload, check, and complete a customer delivery ensuring the customer is happy that the products are present, correct, and stored to their requirements.
- Occasionally assist the Warehouse team with Labelling and put away of the products delivered into the Warehouse.
- Carry out daily / weekly visual checks on your delivery vehicle.
- During any ‘down time’ ensure the vehicle is clean, tidy, and presentable.
- If applicable, assist the Warehouse team to pre-pick orders ahead of the next scheduled delivery day.
Skills & Experience required of the Delivery Driver:
- Full UK Driving license (with 3 points of less)
- Previous experience working in a driving/warehouse role is desirable but not essential
- Good level of physical fitness
- IT Literate
- Excellent presentation and time keeping
Working Hours:
07:30 until 16:00 / Monday to Friday
£26,000 per annum
