Finance Administrator

The Role:

Our client is seeking a Finance Administrator to join their established and friendly finance team in Huntingdon. This is a varied and hands-on role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the wider business with day-to-day financial administration.

The Finance Administrator position offers flexibility, with hours ranging between 28 and 37.5 per week depending on the candidate. Main Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase and sales invoices accurately
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
  • Assisting with credit control and chasing outstanding payments
  • Supporting month-end procedures
  • Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers
  • Providing general administrative support to the finance function

Skills/Experience:

  • Previous experience in a Finance Administrator or similar finance-based role
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
  • Confident using accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional communication skills

Salary & Working Hours:

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience
  • 28 to 37.5 hours per week (flexible depending on the candidate)
