Facilities Maintenance Engineer
£35,000 (negotiable) plus benefits
Facilities Maintenance Engineer is responsible for the maintenance and repair of manufacturing facilities, associated infrastructure and manufacturing equipment to ensure safe, timely and efficient operation of all plant machinery and equipment.
Key responsibilities for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer
- Maintain assets such as plant, machinery, property etc to ensure safe, continual and efficient business operations.
- Ensure that periodic and preventive maintenance are appropriately scheduled and accomplished and that troubleshooting, and maintenance support are readily available as needed.
- Update records of work activities, tasks carried out, parts used through stores and training given.
- Work closely with manufacturers, suppliers and internal departments in findings ways to improve process and increase machine reliability and performance.
Skills, Qualifications & Experience for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer
- Competence in plant operation and maintenance.
- Engineering, Electrical Mechanical and Hydraulic.
- General property maintenance knowledge and skills
- Knowledge of plant operation principles, methods and processes.
- Able to handle day to day and strategic issues, operational requirements and management of manufacturing facility.
- Good analytical skills with sound problem solving.
- Microsoft office skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Hours of work for the Facilities Maintenance Engineer
Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm
