Stores Operative required for well established, highly reputable company based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the Booking-In, Issuing and Transfer of Parts, Goods and Services in the ERP Stock System
- Ensure all parts are correctly Labelled, Identified and stored in a correct manner and location
- Carry out Conventional kitting in line with SOP
- Carry out SMT Kitting in line with SOP
- Manage Consumables using correctly completed requisitions, Use by Dates and Stock Checks
- Ensure Stores utilises all available space effectively
- Return Parts to Stock, Locating and labelling as necessary
- Conduct any administrative tasks that may be required
- Inspection of Bespoke Items as necessary
Skills & Experience required:
- Ideally from a manufacturing background
- Proven experience using Warehouse Management systems
- A good understanding of stock control processes
- IT skills (Excel & other Microsoft Office Packages)
- A team player with good communications skills
- Good problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- A forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential to be considered for this role
Hours of Work:
08:00 until 16:45 - Monday to Thursday
08:00 until 12:30 - Friday
