Stores Operative required for well established, highly reputable company based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. 
 
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading business who have excellent facilities and can offer ongoing career support and development for the right person. 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Manage the Booking-In, Issuing and Transfer of Parts, Goods and Services in the ERP Stock System
  • Ensure all parts are correctly Labelled, Identified and stored in a correct manner and location
  • Carry out Conventional kitting in line with SOP 
  • Carry out SMT Kitting in line with SOP
  • Manage Consumables using correctly completed requisitions, Use by Dates and Stock Checks 
  • Ensure Stores utilises all available space effectively
  • Return Parts to Stock, Locating and labelling as necessary
  • Conduct any administrative tasks that may be required
  • Inspection of Bespoke Items as necessary
Skills & Experience required: 
  • Ideally from a manufacturing background
  • Proven experience using Warehouse Management systems
  • A good understanding of stock control processes
  • IT skills (Excel & other Microsoft Office Packages)
  • A team player with good communications skills
  • Good problem-solving skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • A forklift licence would be beneficial but is not essential to be considered for this role
Hours of Work:
 
08:00 until 16:45 - Monday to Thursday
08:00 until 12:30 - Friday
