Job Title: Sales Office Manager

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sales Office Manager to lead, support, and develop our internal sales team. You will be responsible for driving sales process improvements, managing customer enquiries, and ensuring orders are fulfilled on time. This role is central to supporting Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), administering our Salesforce CRM system, and facilitating daily tiered meetings while contributing to wider business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, support, and develop the internal sales office team, ensuring performance standards are met.
- Allocate and monitor workload to achieve business targets.
- Lead recruitment, training, and development of sales office staff.
- Conduct performance reviews and set SMART objectives.
- Oversee customer service, resolving issues promptly and effectively.
- Implement and maintain office systems and processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of customer enquiries, quotations, and orders.
- Own and administer the Salesforce CRM system, ensuring accurate data and effective reporting.
- Produce and present KPI reports, dashboards, and support Tiered Daily Meetings.
- Collaborate with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to support demand forecasting.
- Act as a key contact for sales-related support across the site.
- Support cross-functional projects and business initiatives as required.
About You
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Positive, proactive, and able to take ownership of delivering an excellent customer experience.
- Skilled in Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI, etc.).
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
- Experience supporting S&OP processes and CRM administration.
- Familiarity with demand planning and order management processes.
Education & Experience
- GCSEs/A Levels (or equivalent).
- Proven track record in managing sales office teams.
