We are currently recruiting for an Order Fulfilment Administrator to join a well-established organisation based in St Ives, Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced administrative environment and enjoys working as part of a supportive team.
As an Order Fulfilment Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring that customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately from start to finish. This is a varied position involving communication with multiple departments, handling documentation, liaising with freight providers, and ensuring customers receive exceptional service every time.
Main Responsibilities:

Process customer sales orders accurately and in line with company procedures.

Carry out dispatch administration duties and maintain detailed order records.

Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to meet customer delivery requirements.

Manage shipment arrangements, negotiating with freight couriers to ensure cost-effective and timely deliveries.

Check stock levels and coordinate with warehouse and production teams.

Communicate order updates and provide relevant documentation to customers.

Verify courier invoices and maintain up-to-date tracking and proof-of-delivery information.

Contribute to process improvement and efficiency within the order fulfilment team.
Skills/Experience:

Previous experience in an administrative or order fulfilment role.

Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office, email, and data management.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.

Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines in a busy environment.

Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Full UK driving licence and own transport (due to office location) preferred.
Salary & Working Hours:

Salary: £23,492 per annum (DOE).

Full-time, Monday to Friday, office-based role.
