My client is a rapidly growing UK manufacturer known for high-quality solutions. They are looking for an experienced and motivated Production Shift Team Leader to join their dynamic production team and help drive excellence across their operations.
As a Production Shift Team Leader, you will play a key role in coordinating daily workflows, supporting team members, ensuring safety standards, and maintaining the smooth running of our fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily work schedules across all production departments.
- Monitor team performance and provide hands-on guidance and support.
- Deliver training for new team members and uphold workplace standards.
- Maintain compliance with stock management systems and collaborate with stock control.
- Ensure the site is opened, closed, and secured properly.
- Promote strong Health & Safety practices and lead by example.
- Meet regularly with the Production Manager to share updates and improvements.
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend practical solutions.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workspace.
- Oversee machine and station maintenance for functionality and cleanliness.
- Prepare product orders for dispatch and optimise material organisation.
- Take on varied tasks to support the team’s overall success.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in a production environment, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Certifications such as IOSH Managing Safely are advantageous.
- Experience with production software, acrylic fabrication, or machinery (e.g., laser cutters) is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety regulations, audits, and risk assessments.

Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
0600 until 1400 / 1400 until 2200 on weekly rotation
£29,500 - £32,000 per annum
