Production Operative

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Operative to join a reputable company in St Neots. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools
• Read and interpret assembly instructions
• Perform quality checks to ensure all work meets company standards
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production targets Stamping parts with use of a machine
• Measuring and cutting material to tight tolerances using cutting machines
• Flushing with either a lubricant or pellet
• Taping finished products
• Bagging finished goods

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar role
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings
• Good attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Basic understanding of health and safety practices

08:00 until 16:00

£12.88 per hour
