We’re currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production / Assembly operative to join one of our well-established and reputable clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Production / Assembly Operator to become part of a supportive and friendly team within a stable manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Production / Assembly Operator, you will:
- Assemble mechanical components and sub-assemblies using hand tools
- Read and interpret assembly and work instructions
- Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
- Work collaboratively to achieve production targets
- Stamp parts using machinery
- Measure and cut materials to tight tolerances using cutting equipment
- Flush components with lubricants or pellets
- Tape and bag finished products ready for dispatch
About You
To be successful as a Production / Assembly Operative, you should have:
- Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar production role
- Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity
- A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production environment
Pay & Hours
Monday to Friday
Rotating shifts: 06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00
Pay rate: £14.42 per hour, increasing to £15.60 per hour after 12 weeks
