International Sales Executive

We are currently seeking an ambitious and motivated International Sales professional to join a well-established and growing organisation based in Houghton, Cambridgeshire. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, international environment with a business that truly values its people.

As an International Sales representative, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with key distributors and customers across global markets. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, customer engagement, and international business development who enjoys a varied role that combines relationship management, market research, and occasional travel abroad.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key customers.

  • Develop new business opportunities through proactive outreach and lead generation.

  • Manage the full sales cycle from initial enquiry through to order completion.

  • Research international markets to identify growth opportunities.

  • Accurately record sales activities and follow-up actions in the CRM system.

  • Work closely with colleagues across departments to achieve sales targets.

  • Attend international exhibitions and client meetings as required.

  • Stay up to date with product knowledge to provide effective support and advice to customers.


Skills/Experience:

  • Proven experience in a sales or international sales role.

  • Track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients at all levels.

  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, able to manage multiple priorities.

  • Confident using Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

  • Additional language skills (such as French, Spanish, or German) would be advantageous.

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to working with diverse cultures and markets.


Salary & Working Hours:

  • Basic salary of £26,000 – £26,500 per annum (DOE) plus commission.

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday, office-based in Houghton, Cambridgeshire.

  • Occasional international travel required.
