Holiday Planning Executive

My client provides a bespoke worldwide travel service to groups such as schools and colleges but also for private individuals as well.

For this role you would carry responsibility for your own group tour programmes from start to finish and would be wholly responsible for their successful execution and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Planning itineraries
  • Negotiating and contracting with suppliers (hotels, transport, restaurants, guides, attractions, etc)
  • Sourcing specialist and technical/study visits where required
  • Writing itineraries#
  • Managing the financial accounts for each individual group and generally overseeing the successful operation of the files in your charge.

Skills Required:

  • Strong organisational skills and time management
  • Accuracy and absolute attention to detail
  • Strong multi-tasking ability
  • Good mathematical skills
  • Good knowledge of British and European geography
  • Language skills are a distinct advantage (particularly Italian)
