My client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team URGENTLY!
This position has come around due to retirement and so it would be beneficial if you are able to start work before the end of December.
The successful candidate will be the only member of the Finance team and so they need someone who is very organised, trustworthy, and discreet.
NB - The successful candidate will need to have a credit check performed.
Main Duties
Your main duties will be:
- To process the day-to-day tasks of the company accounting functions, including payroll processing
- To ensure the accurate & timely management of the accounts.
- To assist the accountant in the processing of the quarterly & year end accounting processes.
They currently use SAGE 50 but are seeking someone who can help them review their processes & when appropriate, implement transition to Xero.
Skills/Experience
- Previous experience ensuring accuracy in a similar role in a small/medium business using factoring banking
- SAGE 50 accounts
- SAGE 50 payroll & pensions processing
- Xero accounting & payroll experience.
- Confident in the use of Microsoft Excel & Word
- Excellent attention to detail & written & verbal English
- Able to work unsupervised & plan & organise own workload
