We’re currently seeking a motivated and reliable Despatch Operative to join one of our well-established clients based in St Neots. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Despatch Operative to become part of a supportive and friendly team within a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
As a Despatch Operative, your main duties will include:
- Preparing orders for dispatch by accurately picking, packing, and labelling products
- Inspecting products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards before shipping
- Operating a forklift safely and efficiently
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe dispatch area
- Collaborating with colleagues to meet daily despatch targets
- Following all health and safety procedures at all times
Skills & Experience
To succeed as a Despatch Operative, you’ll need:
- Previous experience in a warehouse or despatch role
- The ability to lift heavy objects safely
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- A proactive, problem-solving attitude
Hours & Pay
Monday to Thursday
22:00 until 06:00
£16.34 per hour
