Bim Modeller
£35,000 to £45,000 Plus benefits
Our local Huntingdonshire client is expanding and have a brand new position for a Bim Modeller.
This is a full-time position for a person with 3+ years of experience using Revit who is proficient at making changes to service routes & equipment from an existing Bim model and also reviewing the existing model from an M&E perspective to spot any glaring issues / carry out clash detection etc. Knowledge on product families and cobie input is required.
The Bim Modeller
Ideally, you will be mechanically biased
Have the ability to use software and understand all technical aspects of Revit.
At least a basic knowledge of both mechanical and electrical systems & components.
Produce CAD drawings from the information within the model to take the projects from stage 4a design through to stage 5 producing & issuing working drawings, sections, details etc.
The projects that are undertaken are all multi residential so a background in this field would be good although not essential.
Our client has in house project managers who will take the lead on all design development, and you will need to liaise with them on a regular basis via teams and in the office (sometimes from our client’s sites in London, travel paid) to ensure that the changes are understood and made correctly.
Remote hybrid working is considered for the Bim Modeller, however there is a requirement to spend time with our managers in person whether that be at our client’s office in Buckden or (although rare) on site in London where travel will be paid.
The Bim Modeller is a Monday to Friday position.
Based near Huntingdon
